Preload and Get Ready to Rumble

• When's the party starting? The Black Ops 6 preload kicks off on Monday, October 21st at 9AM PT.

• Who's invited? Players who have pre-ordered the game or subscribe to select Game Pass plans can download the Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes.

• How's the download going to be? If you already have Call of Duty installed, the Black Ops 6 preload will be an automatic update. If you're new to the Call of Duty family, you can initiate the download from your platform's storefront.

• Heads up! The download will be a bit larger for those who already have Call of Duty installed, as you'll be getting the new UI and Black Ops 6 all in one go.

  
  

Call of Duty: Warzone - A Separate Download

Remember, Call of Duty: Warzone content is not automatically included in the Black Ops 6 download. But don't worry, you can easily download it alongside Black Ops 6 or at any time after your initial install.

Tip: We highly recommend downloading Warzone to get the most out of your Call of Duty experience and prepare for some exciting updates coming in Season 01!

Managing Your Call of Duty Storage Space

With Black Ops 6 on the way, it's time to do some spring cleaning on your device. To make room for the new game and future updates, you can remove content you're no longer playing.

Don't worry, you can always reinstall content later if you change your mind.

• Faster Access: Starting with Season 01, you'll be able to instantly load up Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone right from the launch screen.

• A New Look: The UI will evolve over three phases, culminating in a sleek, modern design that's packed with features.

Let's break down the details of each phase:

Phase 1: Pre-Black Ops 6 Launch (October 21 - October 24)

• Transition Period: During this time, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone will be the primary Game Tiles.

• Legacy UI: Both games will retain their legacy UIs until the Season 01 update.

• Store Access: The Store tab will direct you to the full Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone in-game stores.

  
  

Phase 2: Post-Black Ops 6 Launch (October 25 - )

• Black Ops 6 Takes Center Stage: Black Ops 6 will replace Modern Warfare III as the primary Game Tile.

• Easy Access: You can instantly access Black Ops 6 and cross-launch into Call of Duty: Warzone.

• Modern Warfare III Remains Available: If you want to continue playing Modern Warfare III, you can access it via cross-launch on the All Games tab.

• Black Ops 6 Store: The Store tab will now direct you to the full Black Ops 6 in-game store.

• New Features: Black Ops 6 will have its own unique UI with features like a new gunsmith, playlist selection, and social showcase.

  
  

Phase 3: Season 01

• Fully Realized UI: The UI will reach its final form, providing the most streamlined experience yet.

• Battle Pass Tab: A new Battle Pass tab will be introduced, making it easy to access your Battle Pass in both Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone.

• Improved Warzone UI: Call of Duty: Warzone will also receive a revamped UI with similar improvements to Black Ops 6.

  
  

In addition to these changes, we're also making it easier to manage your settings. Some global settings will be accessible at the top Call of Duty level, while more game-specific settings can be managed at the individual title levels.
